We have chosen Drama for our film genre because it is an extremely relatable genre. It usually involves realistic situations that everyday people will encounter; however, the interesting part is how the characters will overcome the problems. Choosing Drama will allow us to target our own age group and discuss issues that affect younger individuals. Moreover, Drama is a widely appealing genre, meaning we will be targeting a wider audience, rather than a restricted one, which is more difficult. Furthermore, it is easier to shoot a Drama film as it is easier for us to find or play people of our own age, rather than adult characters, making the production of this film much easier.
